Golf Courses in Commerce Charter Township, MI

With a population just north of 40,000 people, Commerce Charter Township is a very pleasant little city located about 15 miles northwest of Detroit. Described as a mix of suburbia and rural, the community has much to offer, including some good local restaurants, a couple of breweries, sports bars and a couple of parks. It also offers golf, both within and nearby communities. A good local public option for tee times is Beacon Hill Golf Club, which opened in 1999 and offers an interesting layout with good conditions. Or you could venture out a few miles west to check out 27-hole Mystic Creek Golf Club, a favorite in the Detroit area. For members and guests there’s also Edgewood Country Club, a high-quality private club located in the heart of Commerce Charter Township. The club originally opened in 1928 and was renovated by Michigan’s own Arthur Hills in 1989.
