One of Illinois’ premier golf courses, Prairie Isle Golf Club includes an unequaled blend of varied and assorted course features which combine to provide a challenging, yet fair golfing experience for players of all skill levels. Prairie Isle Golf Club is considered by many to be a thinker’s course, with strategy and high-level decision making required in order to play efficiently. The Prairie Ilse course covers over 135 acres with a variety of woodlands, meadows, and wetlands for all the golfers to experience in their adventure here. The variety of yardages, angles of play and layout of holes present significant flexibility to encourage the golfer with an abundance of shot-making situations. Water becomes a factor of play on about 12 of the hoes, but well balanced overall in terms of difficulty. The course and holes are meticulously designed to allow the golfer to have a comfortable, elevated view of the fairway or green for ideal shot placement. Many golfers have found the 12th and 13th holes to be the most astounding and memorable for its great design. The courses are well spaced out to allow for a consistent pace of play throughout the outing. Furthermore, the staff at Prairie Isle Golf Club is very amicable and always willing to help to make your stay better. For those who would like to expand their golf game, this course offers professional golf lessons by the PGA tour player Quentin Grasso.
