The Flagstaff Hill Golf Club is set in a picturesque area, studded with old gums and surrounded by almost 1,000 modern homes. The Golf Course at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club follows two natural creeks, meandering through the course to feed a man-made water storage facility known as Loch Hillan. This dam not only provides top class water for maintenance of the course, but forms an integral part of the course and frames what is the most picturesque par 3, 7th hole and par 4, 17th holes. The course has developed into a testing yet beautiful par 72 and is fully established with 19 holes (1 spare to enable ongoing maintenance of other holes) of beautifully grassed fairways, tees and greens. Many attractive native shrubs and trees line the fairways, making it a most enjoyable place to play golf. The grassing consists of Santa Anna couch tees, couch fairways and a combination of Bent and Poa greens. Practice facilities include a full length driving range and a recently developed, state of the art, chipping, pitching & bunker practice area - the envy of many neighbouring courses. Flagstaff Hill Golf Club provides a large modern Clubhouse that adequately caters for members and guests includes a Members Lounge and a large Dining Room, all of which can be turned into a large convention or entertainment room. Members and the general public are able to take advantage of these facilities, not only on Club social occasions but also for their own private functions, Weddings, Trade Days etc. and enjoy public dining 3 nights per week.
